Yunhai Shimen
Yunhai Shimen is a mixed-use industry park in Qujiang District, Quzhou, Zhejiang, China. The design draws on the mountainous landscape of the region, using clean geometric forms of staggered towers and cascading platforms to recall mountains and clouds. Instead of a closed retail podium, the complex unfolds into a series of connected outdoor platforms set at several levels. These platforms, the tower sky lobbies and a central gallery named Cloud Deck host public gatherings and events of different scales. The main structure is built of reinforced concrete.
Yunhai Shimen Industry Park by Minquan Wang has been recognized as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Yunhai Shimen Industry Park won the Golden A' Design Award in Construction and Real Estate Projects Design in 2025. The A' Construction and Real Estate Projects Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize that celebrates excellent design of residential complexes, commercial buildings, industrial properties, Mixed-Use developments, hospitality establishments, educational facilities, healthcare centers, infrastructure projects and more.
